Loperamide Side Effects Report #5413402-1
Loperamide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on July 23, 2007. Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with diarrhoea and was treated with Loperamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, blood albumin decreased, clostridium difficile colitis, condition aggravated, megacolon. Loperamide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFOTIAM, CLINDAMYCIN, CEFCAPENE PIVOXIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
