Loperamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 09, 2007. Male patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with diarrhoea, vomiting and was treated with Loperamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, gastrointestinal oedema, pulmonary oedema, septic shock, vomiting. Loperamide dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, rhinorrhoea, skin test positive. Loperamide dosage: 2 MG, ONCE/SINGLE, ORAL. Patient recovered.
