Loperamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2006. Male patient, 26 years of age, weighting 183.0 lb, was diagnosed with diarrhoea and was treated with Loperamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol poisoning, calcinosis, excoriation, gastric disorder, hepatitis , hypertensive heart disease, inflammation, insomnia. Loperamide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PSEUDOEPHEDRINE, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ETHANOL, LITHIUM CARBONATE, TRAZODONE, ARIPIPRAZOLE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol poisoning, granuloma, hepatitis , hypertensive heart disease, loss of consciousness, oesophagitis, spleen disorder. Loperamide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LITHIUM, TRAZODONE, ARIPRAZOLE. Patient died.
