Lomotil side effect was reported by a Health Professional from HONG KONG on Oct 13, 2006. Female patient, child 7 years of age, was diagnosed with abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, vomiting and was treated with Lomotil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, dehydration, gastroenteritis What is  gastroenteritis, ileus, mucosal dryness, mydriasis, pharyngolaryngeal pain, rhinorrhoea, somnolence. Lomotil dosage: 2.5 MG. During the same period patient was treated with LOPERAMIDE, HYOSCINE HYT, HYOSCINE HYT, CHLORPHENIRAMINE, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
