Lithobid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from TURKEY on June 19, 2007. Female patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with mania and was treated with Lithobid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood iron decreased, deep vein thrombosis What is  deep vein thrombosis, disorientation, extrapyramidal disorder, fibrin d dimer increased, fibrin degradation products increased, haemoglobin decreased, hypernatraemia, hyperthyroidism. Lithobid dosage: 1500; 1200 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with RISPERIDONE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
