Lithium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Apr 19, 2005. Male patient, 48 years of age, weighting 251.3 lb, was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and was treated with Lithium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, arrhythmia , asthenia, cardio-respiratory arrest, confusional state, fluid intake reduced, lethargy, morbid thoughts, oral intake reduced. Lithium dosage: 450 MG BY MOUTH TWICE DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, ASPIRIN, LEVOTHYROXINE, OMEPRAZOLE, METOCARBAMOL, FIORICET, ORLISTAT, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE. Patient died on 01/04/2005.
