Linezolid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 05, 2007. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with enterococcal infection, anxiety  and was treated with Linezolid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysphemia, metabolic acidosis, serotonin syndrome, tremor, urinary tract infection . Linezolid dosage: 600 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with ESCITALOPRAM. Patient recovered.
