Linezolid side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Mar 22, 2007. Male patient, 46 years of age, weighting 185.2 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Linezolid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: flushing, hypertension, paraesthesia, stomatitis. Linezolid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLOXACILLIN, PENICILLIN V, ZOPICLONE. Patient recovered.

Linezolid side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 07, 2005. Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with osteomyelitis, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Linezolid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, cardiac arrest , cardiac ventricular disorder, confusional state, hypertension, lactic acidosis, liver disorder, mental status changes. Linezolid dosage: 1200 MG (600 MG, BID). During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM, PREDNISONE, METHOTREXATE, DIGOXIN, GLYCERYL TRINITRATE, DORASEMIDE, INSULIN, OXAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Linezolid dosage: 600 MG PO BID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Linezolid dosage: 1200 MG (600 MG, 2 IN 1 D), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, SIMVASTATIN, ACETAMINOPHEN, MORPHINE, ACTOCORTINA, AMIODARONE, OMEPRAZOLE, DOPAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
