Linezolid Side Effects Report #4559488-8
Linezolid side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 10, 2005. Male patient, 28 years of age, weighting 220.5 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia staphylococcal and was treated with Linezolid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chromaturia, creatinine renal clearance increased, haemoconcentration, heart rate increased, laboratory test abnormal, polyuria, weight decreased. Linezolid dosage: 1200 MG (DAILY), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with SUFENTANIL CITRATE, MIDAZOLAM, PROPOFOL, VANCOMYCIN HYRDOCHLORIDE, CISATRACURIUM BESILATE, ACETAMINOPHEN, NOREPINEPHRINE, SALBUTAMOL SULPHATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, blood pressure increased, confusional state, headache , heart rate increased, refusal of treatment by patient, somnolence. Linezolid dosage: 600 MG IV BID. During the same period patient was treated with MIRTAZAPINE, APAP, ERYTHROMYCIN, HYDROCORTISONE, LORAZEPAM, MEROPENEM. Patient recovered.
