Linezolid side effect was reported by a Physician from POLAND on Apr 07, 2005. Female patient, 19 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia
, sepsis
and was treated with Linezolid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood sodium decreased, clostridial infection, hepatosplenomegaly, lymphocyte percentage decreased, neutrophil percentage increased, protein total decreased, prothrombin time prolonged, spastic paralysis. Linezolid dosage: 1200 MG (600 MG, BID), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LINEZOLID SOLUTION, MEROPENEM, VANCOMYCIN, OMEPRAZOLE, PIRACETAM, BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, DESMOPRESSIN ACETATE, TETRAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized.
