Linezolid Side Effects Report #4786064-4
Linezolid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 30, 2005. Female patient, 66 years of age, weighting 172.0 lb, was diagnosed with mycobacterial infection and was treated with Linezolid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bone marrow depression, faeces discoloured, fatigue, feeling cold, haemoglobin decreased, pallor, pancytopenia. Linezolid dosage: 600MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN, PANTOPRAZOLE, ONDANSETRON, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, SYNTHROID, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
