Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Lidocaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, lethargy. Lidocaine dosage: 2 MG/MIN IV CI. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL, ISOSORBIDE, LASIX, SIMVASTATIN, ASPIRIN, METOPROLOL TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
