Male patient, 48 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with arrhythmia prophylaxis and was treated with Lidocain. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, apnoea, grand mal convulsion. Lidocain dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, anoxic encephalopathy, apnoea, brain herniation, brain oedema, circulatory collapse, coma, grand mal convulsion, muscle spasms. Lidocain dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
