Lexiva Side Effects Report #4972175-7
Lexiva side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 11, 2006. Male patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Lexiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, diabetic ketoacidosis, dizziness , nausea , pollakiuria, thirst, weight decreased. Lexiva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPZICOM, NORVIR, FLUCONAZOLE, ZITHROMAX, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ASPIRIN, LOPRESSOR, ZANTAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Lexiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperglycaemia, pollakiuria, renal failure. Lexiva dosage: 700MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, RITONAVIR. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
