Lexiva and abdominal pain upper Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Lexiva side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 09, 2005. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Lexiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, abnormal dreams, ageusia, anorexia, anosmia, asthenia, back pain , blood bilirubin increased, fat atrophy. Lexiva dosage: 700MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZIAGEN, NORVIR, VIRACEPT, TOPROL, IMDUR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Lexiva dosage: 700MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with NORVIR, TRUVADA, LORAZEPAM, PROTONIX. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 44 years of age, weighting 253.5 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , ill-defined disorder, back pain  and was treated with Lexiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , abdominal pain upper, anorexia, ascites, asthenia, chromaturia, coagulopathy, confusional state. Lexiva dosage: 700MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with VIREAD, EPIVIR, RITONAVIR, BACTRIM, ZITHROMAX, EFFEXOR, TYLENOL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 06/13/2004.
