Levophed side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 28, 2008. Female patient, 32 years of age, weighting 172.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypotension, sepsis
and was treated with Levophed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colectomy, gangrene, hypotension, ileostomy, ischaemia, leg amputation, unresponsive to stimuli. Levophed dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DOPAMINE, ZOSYN, NPH INSULIN, NEPHROVITE, CUBICIN. Patient recovered.
