Levonorgestrel side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SPAIN on Nov 10, 2008. Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with post coital contraception and was treated with Levonorgestrel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: encephalitis herpes, eye haemorrhage, haematoma, headache , hemiparesis, retinal detachment, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Levonorgestrel dosage: (1.5 MG, 1 TABLET, SINGLE DOSE) ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
