Levofloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 30, 2006. Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 171.7 lb, was diagnosed with streptococcal infection  and was treated with Levofloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neutropenia, white blood cell count decreased. Levofloxacin dosage: 500 MG Q 24 HR IV. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN. Patient recovered.
