Female patient, 71 years of age, weighting 156.5 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Levofloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, hypertension, hypoxia, ventricular fibrillation. Levofloxacin dosage: 750 MG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with DOCUSATE, FENTANYL, SLIDING SCALE INSULIN, LANSOPRAZOLE, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
