Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 275.0 lb, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Levofloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, hypoglycaemia, mental status changes. Levofloxacin dosage: 500 MG IV Q24H. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
