Levofloxacin Side Effects Report #5650462-7
Levofloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 04, 2008. Male patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Levofloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bacteria blood identified, blood creatinine increased, catheter related infection, diarrhoea haemorrhagic, faeces discoloured, heart rate irregular, international normalised ratio increased, malaise. Levofloxacin dosage: 250 MG EVERY OTHER DAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, LASIX, LANOXIN, COUMADIN, FLUOXETINE, GEMFIBROZIL, ARICEPT, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, blood creatinine increased, haematuria, haemoglobin decreased, international normalised ratio increased, urinary tract infection , urine leukocyte esterase positive. Levofloxacin dosage: 500MG QD. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
