Levetiracetam Side Effects Report #4874990-7
Levetiracetam side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Dec 20, 2005. Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with epilepsy  and was treated with Levetiracetam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, constipation , diarrhoea, dyspepsia, somnolence. Levetiracetam dosage: 250 MG 2.D; PO. During the same period patient was treated with TEGRETOL. Patient died.

Female patient, 40 years of age, weighting 167.0 lb, was diagnosed with epilepsy  and was treated with Levetiracetam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, diarrhoea, dizziness , nausea , product quality issue, rash , tremor. Levetiracetam dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anuria, diarrhoea, hydronephrosis, nausea , nephritis interstitial, scar , ureteric obstruction. Levetiracetam dosage: 250 MG BID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Levetiracetam dosage: 1000 MG;TWICE A DAY; ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
