Levetiracetam side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 25, 2007. Female patient, child 7 years of age, weighting 59.30 lb, was diagnosed with partial seizures and was treated with Levetiracetam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anxiety , muscle twitching, somnolence, tearfulness, tic . Levetiracetam dosage: 700 MG 2/D PO. During the same period patient was treated with VALPROATE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with epilepsy  and was treated with Levetiracetam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abortion induced, anxiety , convulsion, logorrhoea, pregnancy on oral contraceptive, psychomotor hyperactivity, stress . Levetiracetam dosage: 1500 MG /D PO. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN, CLONAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
