Levetiracetam Side Effects Report #5420240-2
Levetiracetam side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRIA on July 30, 2007. Female patient, 22 years of age, was diagnosed with status epilepticus and was treated with Levetiracetam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abortion induced, enterococcal sepsis, porphyria non-acute, staphylococcal sepsis. Levetiracetam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN, OXAZEPAM, VANCOMYCINE PCH, BARBITURATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abortion induced, anxiety , convulsion, logorrhoea, pregnancy on oral contraceptive, psychomotor hyperactivity, stress . Levetiracetam dosage: 1500 MG /D PO. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN, CLONAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
