Leukeran side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SWEDEN on Jan 02, 2006. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Leukeran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, interstitial lung disease, pneumonitis, pneumothorax, pyrexia. Leukeran dosage: 2MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with SELOKEN, ALVEDON, FUROSEMIDE, AMILORID, IMOVANE, METFORMIN, KAVEPENIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bone marrow failure, cough, pyrexia, white blood cell count increased. Leukeran dosage: 4MG THREE TIMES PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, SIMVASTATIN, TROMBYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bone marrow depression, c-reactive protein increased, infection , mouth haemorrhage, pneumonia , pyrexia, sepsis , skin laceration. Leukeran dosage: 22MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, NATRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/25/2005.
