Leukeran and pneumonia Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Leukeran Side Effects Report #4736896-3
Leukeran side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NORWAY on Aug 01, 2005. Female patient, 75 years of age, was treated with Leukeran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bone marrow depression, c-reactive protein increased, infection , mouth haemorrhage, pneumonia , pyrexia, sepsis , skin laceration. Leukeran dosage: 22MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, NATRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/25/2005.

Leukeran side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on July 18, 2005. Male patient, 30 years of age, weighting 88.18 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with Leukeran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pneumonia , pulmonary alveolar haemorrhage. Leukeran dosage: 20MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with INFLIXIMAB, HEPARIN, MESALAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
