Lepirudin Side Effects Report #5015387-9
Lepirudin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 30, 2006. Female patient, 88 years of age, was diagnosed with thrombosis and was treated with Lepirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, catheter site haemorrhage, confusional state, epistaxis, international normalised ratio increased, mouth haemorrhage. Lepirudin dosage: 0.15MG/KG/HR. Patient recovered.

Lepirudin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 26, 2006. Female patient, 44 years of age, weighting 276.9 lb, was diagnosed with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, thrombosis and was treated with Lepirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: infusion related reaction, international normalised ratio increased. Lepirudin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEPIRUDIN INFUSION. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
