Lepirudin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 05, 2007. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis , pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Lepirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood creatinine increased, creatinine renal clearance decreased, haemoglobin decreased. Lepirudin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMIODARONE, FUROSEMIDE, FENTANYL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM, AZTREONAM, HYDRALAZINE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, RANITIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Lepirudin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 15, 2009. Female patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and was treated with Lepirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemoglobin decreased, intra-abdominal haematoma, pelvic haematoma. Lepirudin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPHEDRINE, ENOXAPARIN, AMLODIPINE, EPIDURAL ANAESTHESIA, EPOPROSTENOL, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
