Lepirudin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 26, 2006. Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 185.2 lb, was diagnosed with thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Lepirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage, pupil fixed. Lepirudin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN ALCOHOL FREE, ENTERAL TUBE, ALBUTEROL SULPHATE AND IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, BISACODYL, CALCIUM CARBONATE, CASPOFUNGIN, DEXTROSE, DILTIAZEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Lepirudin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 07, 2005. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 253.0 lb, was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis What is  deep vein thrombosis, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Lepirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage, convulsion. Lepirudin dosage: 0.0225 MG/KG/HR. Patient died on 10/02/2005.
