Lepirudin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 05, 2007. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis
, pulmonary embolism
and was treated with Lepirudin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood creatinine increased, creatinine renal clearance decreased, haemoglobin decreased. Lepirudin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMIODARONE, FUROSEMIDE, FENTANYL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM, AZTREONAM, HYDRALAZINE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, RANITIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
