Leflunomide Side Effects Report #5688171-0
Leflunomide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Mar 14, 2008. Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Leflunomide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, bronchopneumonia, cardiac failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cytomegalovirus infection , electrocardiogram p pulmonale, fatigue, hepatic function abnormal. Leflunomide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE, METHOTREXATE, PREDNISOLONE, STEROIDS NOS, STEROIDS NOS, SULFASALAZINE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dysphagia, hyperthyroidism, lung neoplasm, myasthenia gravis, osteoporosis , transient ischaemic attack, weight decreased. Leflunomide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NAPROXEN, LEVOTHYROXINE, ETANERCEPT, IIBANDRONIC ACID, TRIAMTEREN, INHALANT. Patient recovered.

Leflunomide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NAPROXEN, LEVOTHYROXINE, ENBREL, IBANDRONATE, TRIAMTERENE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, CENTRUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
