Leflunomide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NETHERLANDS on Nov 29, 2007. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Leflunomide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, enterobacter pneumonia, pneumonia staphylococcal, pulmonary cavitation. Leflunomide dosage: 20 MG. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, PREDNISONE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Leflunomide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, bronchopneumonia, cardiac failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cytomegalovirus infection , electrocardiogram p pulmonale, fatigue, hepatic function abnormal. Leflunomide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE, METHOTREXATE, PREDNISOLONE, STEROIDS NOS, STEROIDS NOS, SULFASALAZINE. Patient died.
