Lansoprazole Side Effects Report #5493457-9
Lansoprazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from ITALY on Oct 17, 2007. Male patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis against gastrointestinal ulcer, hyperuricaemia and was treated with Lansoprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, multi-organ failure, renal failure, respiratory failure, stevens-johnson syndrome. Lansoprazole dosage: 30 MG (30 MG, 1 IN 1 D); ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, LASIX, COUMADIN, ENAPREN, KANRENOL, LANOXIN, AMIODAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
