Female patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with reflux oesophagitis and was treated with Lansoprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, asthenia, cardiac hypertrophy, dizziness , gait disturbance, gastric ulcer, gastritis erosive, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Lansoprazole dosage: 30 MG (30 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL; 30 MG (30 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL; 30 MG (30 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAL, ZANTAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
