Lansoprazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 29, 2006. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with ulcer haemorrhage and was treated with Lansoprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, oculomucocutaneous syndrome, pyrexia. Lansoprazole dosage: 15 MG (15 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SELBEX, ULCERLMIN, WARFARIN, LENDORMIN, GENTACIN, MUCODYNE, BIOFERMIN, LANIRAPID. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anaemia, antinuclear antibody positive, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, cholangitis sclerosing, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, false positive laboratory result, hypoproteinaemia. Lansoprazole dosage: 15 MG (15 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LAC B, PREDNISOLONE, PROMAC, HERBESSER. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cyanosis, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, extrasystoles, feeding tube complication, heart rate increased, moaning, oedema peripheral, platelet count decreased. Lansoprazole dosage: 60 MG (30 MG, 2 IN 1 D). During the same period patient was treated with TAKEPON, UNASYN S, CHLORIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, LASIX, BIOFERMIN R, FRANDOL TAPE S. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
