Lansoprazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Aug 26, 2005. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with ulcer What is  ulcer and was treated with Lansoprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, bone marrow depression, c-reactive protein increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatic function abnormal, pancytopenia. Lansoprazole dosage: 30 MG (30 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DASEN, ULCHYONE, MIRIDACIN, SELBEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with TICLOPIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE, ASPIRIN, BLOPRESS, ALLOID G, THROMBIN, PREDNISOLONE, LAC B, PERDIPINE. Patient died.
