Lanreotide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on May 26, 2008. Female patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with acromegaly and was treated with Lanreotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disease recurrence, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. Lanreotide dosage: (120 MG, ONCE EVERY 28 DAYS) SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with SOMAVERT. Patient recovered.
