Lanoxin Side Effects Report #4644113-8
Lanoxin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 07, 2005. Female patient, 64 years of age, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with tachycardia, hot flush, arthritis  and was treated with Lanoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block first degree, back pain , bradycardia, cardiac murmur, chest pain , dizziness , electrocardiogram st segment abnormal, fatigue. Lanoxin dosage: .25MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with REMIFEMIN, TENORMIN, NABUMETONE, PROZAC, TRICOR, ACIPHEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , arrhythmia supraventricular and was treated with Lanoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, atrial fibrillation , blood urea increased, cardiac murmur, nausea . Lanoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FRUSEMIDE, BENAZEPRIL HYDROCHLORIDE, ASPIRIN, FLUTICASONE PROPIONATE. Patient recovered.

Lanoxin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Apr 13, 2005. Male patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with nasopharyngitis and was treated with Lanoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, blood calcium decreased, blood magnesium decreased, bradycardia, calcium ionised decreased, cardiac arrest , cardiac murmur, cardiogenic shock, cardiomegaly. Lanoxin dosage: 125 MG/DAY / PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, FRUSEMIDE, POTASSIUM ASCORBATE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE. Patient died.

Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Lanoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cardiac failure congestive, cardiac murmur, dry skin, dyspnoea, nausea , oedema, oedema peripheral, pleural effusion. Lanoxin dosage: .25MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with AMIODARONE, ALLOPURINOL, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, DILTIAZEM HYDROCHLORIDE, FERROUS SULPHATE, FUROSEMIDE, OMEPRAZOLE, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
