Lanoxin Side Effects Report #5273262-9
Lanoxin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from THAILAND on Mar 05, 2007. Female patient, child 12 years of age, weighting 44.00 lb, was diagnosed with cardiac failure congestive and was treated with Lanoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , nausea , therapeutic agent toxicity, ventricular extrasystoles, ventricular fibrillation. Lanoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOTHYROXINE, FRUSEMIDE, CAPTOPRIL. Patient died.

Male patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Lanoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchopneumonia, cardiac arrest , ventricular fibrillation. Lanoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, PIPERACILLIN AND TAZOBACTAM, ISOPURAMIN, DEXTROSE, INSULIN, NORMOSOL R, FUROSEMIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, blood calcium decreased, blood magnesium decreased, bradycardia, calcium ionised decreased, cardiac arrest , cardiac murmur, cardiogenic shock, cardiomegaly. Lanoxin dosage: 125 MG/DAY / PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, FRUSEMIDE, POTASSIUM ASCORBATE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE. Patient died.
