Male patient, child 7 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Lamivudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cryptococcosis, encephalitis , facial palsy, facial paresis, headache , herpes simplex , immune reconstitution syndrome, intracranial pressure increased, neck pain. Lamivudine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE, EFAVIRENZ. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
