Lamivudine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 25, 2009. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Lamivudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, dizziness , dyspnoea, hypertension, hypotension, lactic acidosis, metabolic acidosis, pneumonia . Lamivudine dosage: 150 MG / TWICE PER DAY / ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE, NELFINAVIR MESYLATE, FLUOXETINE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, IBUPROFEN, ENSURE, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Lamivudine dosage: 150MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE, NELFINAVIR, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE, CLARITHROMYCIN, ETHAMBUTOL, CIPROFLOXACIN, DIFLUCAN, BIOFERMIN R. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
