Lamivudine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Dec 17, 2007. Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection
and was treated with Lamivudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactic acid abnormal, collagen disorder, condition aggravated, diabetes mellitus, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, hepatic steatosis, hyperlipidaemia. Lamivudine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with STAVUDINE, EFAVIRENZ, TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE. Patient was hospitalized.
