Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy and was treated with Lactulose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lower gastrointestinal haemorrhage, procedural complication, rectal fissure. Lactulose dosage: unknown. Patient died.
