Lactulose side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 01, 2008. Female patient, 39 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with poor quality sleep, bipolar disorder
, agitation and was treated with Lactulose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, akathisia, blood creatinine increased, confusional state, delayed recovery from anaesthesia, disorientation, glasgow coma scale abnormal, hydronephrosis. Lactulose dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLONAZEPAM, FOLIC ACID, ISOFLURANE, LITHIUM, OLANZAPINE, THIOPENTONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
