Labetalol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 05, 2007. Female patient was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Labetalol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , condition aggravated, dyspnoea exertional, economic problem, headache , hypertension, oedema peripheral, treatment noncompliance. Labetalol dosage: 200 MG Q AM + 400 MG Q HS PO. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Labetalol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 13, 2005. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 280.0 lb, was diagnosed with arthritis  and was treated with Labetalol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, aortic aneurysm , cardiac arrest , cardio-respiratory arrest, cardiomegaly, chest pain , exsanguination, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, headache . Labetalol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIOXX, TYLENOL, ZOLOFT, PRILOSEC, THEOPHYLLINE, COUMADIN, BEXTRA, DEMADEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/10/2002.
