Labetalol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 31, 2007. Female patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Labetalol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, no therapeutic response. Labetalol dosage: 5 MG, INTRAVENOUS; 10 MG/H, INFUSION. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOXYBENZAMINE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, PROPOFOL, MIDAZOLAM, FENTANYL, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, BUPIVACAINE, MAGNESIUM. Patient recovered.

Labetalol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 13, 2005. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 280.0 lb, was diagnosed with arthritis What is  arthritis and was treated with Labetalol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, aortic aneurysm What is  aortic aneurysm, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, cardio-respiratory arrest, cardiomegaly, chest pain What is  chest pain, exsanguination, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, headache What is  headache. Labetalol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIOXX, TYLENOL, ZOLOFT, PRILOSEC, THEOPHYLLINE, COUMADIN, BEXTRA, DEMADEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/10/2002.
