Labetalol Side Effects Report #5942601-5
Labetalol side effect was reported by a Physician from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Oct 16, 2008. Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 119.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Labetalol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anion gap increased, blood chloride decreased, blood creatinine increased, blood glucose increased, blood potassium increased, blood pressure increased, blood urea increased, disease progression. Labetalol dosage: 100 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIUM CARBONATE, LOVASTATIN, GLIPIZIDE, SILYMARIN, ALPRAZOLAM, DANAZOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, anuria, blood potassium increased, caesarean section, cardiac output decreased, haemoglobin decreased, hellp syndrome, intracranial pressure increased. Labetalol dosage: 20 MG;. During the same period patient was treated with MAGNESIUM SULPHATE, ALFENTANIL, THIOPENTHAL, SUXAMETHONIUM, SEVOFLURANE, MORPHINE, MIDAZOLAM. Patient recovered.
