Male patient, child 8 years of age, was diagnosed with phenylketonuria  and was treated with Kuvan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, disorientation, dyspnoea. Kuvan dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Kuvan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 19, 2008. Female patient, weighting 149.3 lb, was diagnosed with phenylketonuria  and was treated with Kuvan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, back pain , constipation , fatigue, headache , malaise, migraine , muscle spasms, nausea . Kuvan dosage: 100 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with MIRALAX, BENTYL. Patient recovered.
