Kuvan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 29, 2008. Male patient, 32 years of age, weighting 150.0 lb, was diagnosed with phenylketonuria  and was treated with Kuvan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , dyspepsia, gastrooesophageal reflux disease. Kuvan dosage: 200 MG;TID;PO. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN, CIMETIDINE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 32 years of age, weighting 150.0 lb, was diagnosed with phenylketonuria  and was treated with Kuvan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , dyspepsia, flatulence, gastrooesophageal reflux disease. Kuvan dosage: 300 MG;QD;PO; 600 MG;QD;PO; 300 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN, CIMETIDINE. Patient recovered.
