Male patient, 16 years of age, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with tinea infection  and was treated with Ketoconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fatigue, jaundice , liver function test abnormal, malaise, nausea , pain in extremity, pyrexia, staphylococcal infection . Ketoconazole dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 131.2 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Ketoconazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, decreased appetite, jaundice , nausea . Ketoconazole dosage: 200 MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with DIOVAN, ADVAIR DISKUS, HYDROCORTISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
